Brent was born and raised in New Hampshire.  He received his Associates degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from New Hampshire Technical Institute.  He then decided to further his education and received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston Massachusetts.  While in college in Boston, he worked for Catalano Architects.  One summer he also work for Fairlamb + Ayon Architects in Virginia on an internship.  After college he began working at Udelsman Associates and remained there for 22 years.  While there he was involved in all aspects of design, developing construction drawings and seeing projects through the construction process.  While with UA he gained much experience in doing test-fits and tenant fit-ups in existing buildings as well as single family homes, small and large commercial projects as well as multi-family housing and assisted living facilities.  In 2022 Brent founded Chappell Design to explore new opportunities and further his experience.  He is currently working toward getting his architectural registration.

Brent enjoys working on projects around the house, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
